Institute of Management Education and Research - IMER (Belgaum) :
The Institute of Management Education and Research (IMER) Belgaum, an educational venture by Karnatak Law Society, is an Institute set up to add enriched talent to the pool of professionally trained managers. IMER is recognized by the AICTE. The Institute was started in the year 1991 with the support of renowned Management expert and educationalist of India, Dr.P.C. Shejwalkar. The mission of this Institute is to Usher an era of excellent Management Education, relevant and useful to industry, business and other development organizations. This Insitute is situated at Vadagaon Road, Adarsh Nagar, Hindwadi, Belgaum. IMER is an Institute which believes in doing things differently. IMER has accepted the challenges like Global competition, changing technology, internet revolution and continually changing environment.
Karnataka Law Society has acquired Two and a half acres of land at survey No. 77 Vadgaon Road, Belgaum to build its own campus as per the norms of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The ground breaking ceremony was held on 15th May 2001 at the site. From the academic year 1999-2000, the institute has started conducting a Two Year Full Time Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) Programme whcih is affiliated to the Karnatak University, Dharwad. The Programme is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The Institute is a member of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), All India Management Association (AIMA) and American Management Association (AMA), New York, USA and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi. The courses included in these semesters are Production, Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. This gives the students a strong foundation in Management Education. The facilities provided by this institute are the well maintained Computer Center, Hostels, campus, Placement Cell and the IMER Library. In addition, the students are required to undergo the "In-plant" training
K.L.E. Society's College of Business Administration - B.B.A (Belgaum):
College of Business Administration was established in the year 1996, at Belgaum by the K.L.E. Society. It offers a three year degree course in Business Administration. It is affiliated permanetly to the Karnataka University, Dharwad. This College of management offers Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.).
The facilities provided by this college are : The institute conducts classes with latest audio- visual aids, This institute has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, Excellent library with over 1500 books.
